Sport Ehaust Option RS7?

Does the sport exhaust option on an RS7 make a meaningful difference from the stock (much louder)? I drove an RS7 without it - and I felt like the car was a bit 'too' quiet - but not necessarily in a 'bad' way as most of my cruising is freeway driving where I prefer quiet vs loud.

There is an option in the MMI setting for the exhaust sound - it has a set of electrically operated flaps to keep it turned down when needed.

It you drove the dealer demo it may have been dialled back, but Ill let one of our many RS7 guys jump in with their experiences.

Its definitely not a quiet car when you floor it!

I have never driven any RS7 without sport exhaust but I would say sport exhaust in RS7 is not that loud. Especially after I get used to Miltek non-res exhaust, stock sport exhaust sounds very quiet to me now.

I must be deaf, since I don't think the non-res Milltek is all that loud either :-) Seriously, the sport exhaust is not that loud and I would certainly want that option unless I planned on getting an aftermarket exhaust.
