Alright, This may be confusing... But we always use one of these on our cars (to protect the seat from our kid!): https://www.amazon.com/Tike-Smart-Luxury-Clean-Edge-Kick/dp/B00TVDBQ3C/ref=zg_bs_2237473011_18?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=DGTHZG3WVCHNG5KJ7DTY

Problem is, with the S6, the headrest is integrated into the seat, so there is no easy way to attach the top tether, while keeping it tucked away. What we have now, is the strap just wrapped around the head rest, which works, but isn't ideal. Im also worried about the strap rubbing against the leather over time, and scratching up the seats. If no other solution, I may just put a seatbelt strap cover around it to cushion the contact with the seat. But that may make for an obtrusive headrest for the passenger.

Anyways... anyone with an S and a kid, have any good solutions? I've done some searching and haven't found a decent solution.

Thanks!

I unfortunately do not have one, but I have the same problem. My 4 year old loves to put her feet on the back of my seat, so I need the protector, but haven't found a better way other than to just mount the top strap around the headrest. I'm only at 2500 miles of use, but so far no signs of it rubbing into the leather.

We cant be the only two with this issue... Right? LOL

Im surprised that audi doesn't sell a $250 seat back protector :)

You're not the only 2. I've been using the same protector for a year now with no wear on the seat. I didn't even know they existed, my wife bought me one knowing how anal I would be. God bless her.

Yeah. We run the seat protectors on all three cars for the past 4 years. Life savers!

Thanks for the feedback.

I've been looking at getting the same protector for my S6 but was not crazy about the exposed strap. Better than nothing I guess.

Omg yes!! That would be so nice! The kick mats I used are the Brica Deluxe Kick Mats. I think they're $10 for 2 on amazon.

Yeah. I think I have one of those. And two of something else. They're all about the same

Get a hoodie of your favorite sports team and drop it over your seat back.

If you want you can have a granny stitch it up nice by removing the sleeves and make it look like a fitted cover. I've also seen people use yoga material wrap for the seats.

Interesting option!

I think I'll just keep the traditional seat protector in place and maybe unclip the top strap when my kid isn't in the car

Can anyone with these installed on S6/7 sports seats with integrated headrest post a picture or two? Considering this for my S6 but they are definitely odd shaped seats. Thanks!

Bottom strap goes along the bottom and wraps around front, but tucks into the crack between the base seat and seat back.

Thx so much for the pictures. The funny thing is, the older and bigger they get, the less they hit the seats. My 8 year old has long enough legs that her lower legs hang at nearly a 90 degree angle from her booster. The 5 year olds legs are shorter, so her feet stick more straight out toward the seat back. We went from two straight A8Ls to the S6 and I thought they would kick the hell out of the seat backs, but it's really only an issue for the little one.

Absolutely. I hope in another year or two these won't be needed
