Does anyone know how to do a Throttle Body Alignment (TBA) on a B8 S4? I don't have the VCDS cable and I am using a GIAC stage 2 tune

If you don't have VCDS you can try this:

Yes you do... the positions are just different based on circumstances of pressing the brake or not. Here's the revised version for our cars by me. Haven't tried it cuz I don't need to since I have VCDS, but this is to answer your question only due to key differences.
Put the car in Park.
Pull the handbrake up.
Put the key into dash slot and press once WITHOUT having your foot on the brake. (DO NOT START THE CAR)
Push the gas peddle all the way down and wait 3 seconds and then press the key once but do not take it out.
Release the gas peddle and wait 2 minutes.
Remove key than put it back in and start the car.

What’s the point of a TBA?

What’s the point of a TBA?
Better throttle response due to the computer not "learning/adapting to" your driving methods.

Put "Throttle body alignment via VDCS" into google and a RossTech instructions page is the first result. There are also 3 videos after it.

Just tried this a couple times (in case the first time didn't work), didn't notice anything. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
