I want to start out by saying I already have a snout pulley installed in which I put car in service position like most. So this is an idea that may help others if possible. I was detailing engine bay and thought of another way to install pulley that maybe quicker. I personally have never removed the supercharger but thought maybe instead of removing it ( supercharger ) all the way to install a pulley but just unbolting the bolts that hold it down, undoing the coolant lines in the front and tilting it backwards enough to get pulley installer on it. There is probably something that would prevent this but it was an idea that may help people install it even quicker. Those who have removed the supercharger completely what do you think?

The charger is studded not bolted down so you would have to lift up the charger.

when i changed out my motor mounts, i had the engine raised a good 2" or so. That would have been a good time to do the pulley. I wouldn't recommend it being faster than service position though. More if you plan on upgrading motor mounts and have some cash to spare for a supercharger pulley and tool. Instead of the toaster oven to heat up the pulley though, I used a torch in 30 degree weather and it took like 5 minutes to heat up enough where i could slide the pulley on, notice it was backwards, quickly removed it and slid it back on again properly.

Pull the supercharger up..much easier than putting the car in service position..it will take you half an hour your first time.
