Mostly everything listed there must start with some sort of social engineering aspect.. ie mostly these types of connections first need an authorization code which could only be obtained by first having physical access to mmi, or obd2. Human (driver) error is the #1 security risk.

That's a crap underwriting article. Basically anything with electronics is going to up the risk of hacking vulnerabilities. Typical underwriting risk assessment. So since our cars have several modern electronics it's going to score bad versus basic cars without them.
