Help! Hood won't latch!

I have tried every manner of closing the hood. Soft, hard, trying to get each latch separately.

There are three latches holding the hood closed. The driver side one doesn't seem to want to latch. The passenger latches with no problem. The middle needs some force. Anyone else have this problem? What now?

This exact thing happened to me 2 weeks ago. My issues was the plastic piece above the headlight wasn't in its place properly which would not allow the drivers side of the hood to travel the entire way and latch.

Had a similar issue on my old A6. Few squirts of wd40 fixed it
