i have stock suspensions on all but than i when i put it next to other B5's it the lower height is so clear and obvious...

is this normal? has anything been done to it (which i don't think)...i checked and there was no problems with it.

you probablly have sport suspension ....which comes with the factory sports package.

What wheels do you have. That can tell us if you are sport.

Or the last owner melted your springs

Gundem

nah the springs are solid, my wheels are 16" factory stock. but it has nothing to do with the wheel...the distance between body and the tire is noticeably less than other stock A4's.

16" means you have the stock sport package

What color shocks would give a better idea.

16's come on non sport package A4's too... don't they? the 5 spokes are 16 i know that for sure.

^^^^^those are 16, and not sport package

^^^^^then these are 16's on the sport packege.

which ones do you have?

that also depends on whether its a 2.8 or 1.8T

if your shocks are red, you have sport suspension...

Gundem

Gundem

You could get the sport steering wheel as an option without getting the suspension I believe. '00 and '01 sport package had the 16s shown above '98 and 99' sport package hade 7spoke 16s. I beleive that's correct there's been a lot of confusion about when they offered what wheel and on what package. As already said though checking your strut color is the best way to tell.

The 3/4 spoke wheel thing used to be true, but I think sometime around '99 they switched to all cars having the 3 spoke wheel. I've never seen a 99.5+ car with something other than the 3 spoke.

Yeah I have the 3 spoke steering wheel and 16" 5 spoke rims, but the standard suspension. All you can really go on is to look at the shocks themselves
