Anyone put b8.5 tail lamps on b8?

Searched and can't find, is it doable?
The shape seems different unsure what involved. I'm 2011 looking at the b8.5 tron like tail lights.

The shapes are different. It's doable but you need to get the harness, b8.5 trunk and bumper.

I know they do it alot in the 5 forum, but i believe its a direct swap and some coding and wiring difference...

You'll need to change body parts too, not direct swap

Not sure if correct but I have been told that the B8.5 Avant tail lights will straight swap into the b8 sedan.

I personally like the B8 tail lamp with those individual LED bulbs and all. But hey, it's your car. But if you end up doing it, post on here what you did exactly. thanks
