Hello Audiziners!

As stated above, my name is Stokes and I wanted to take a few moments of your time to make this public service announcement and introduce myself as your new B8 S4 section moderator. I was fortunate enough to recently pick up a 2013 Audi S4 in DSG with the sports differential from a fellow Audiziner in CT last week and it was only natural that I became more involved in this section.

For those of you who may not know me, I've been the principal organizer of the Audizine Tent City at Waterfest in Englishtown, NJ since 2010. I'm proud to report that with the help of other fellow Audiziners, every year has been successful - hopefully I'll be able to see some of you there this year! And if you didn't guess it by now, I currently live in NJ and I'm very active within the VW/Audi community. I also travel a lot for work and have met several Audiziners throughout the country. In addition to the B8.5 S4, I currently own a VW Golf R, Lexus CT200h, and a Ducati Streetfighter 848. In the past, I've owned an APR stage 2 TT and a Unitronic stage 3 B7 A4.

The B8.5 S4 is bone stock at the moment and I have immediate plans on doing some upgrades. As a sneak peak as to what's to come, I've recently reached out to APR, AWE-Tuning, CTS Turbo, Drive Auto Works, EPL, and other Official Audizine Advertisers (in no particular order, other than alphabetical). Stay tuned for a build thread.

I would also like to take this time to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, and a Happy New Year!

No offense taken. My name was not part of that short list as that there was no need to vet a current moderator. I agree that although my presence was not known within this section, that doesn't mean that I didn't look in from time to time. Now that I recently picked up a B8.5 S4, I will be more involved in this community going forward.

I haven't been to waterfest in ages, but now that I have a car worth taking again, I might go this year. What are the logistics of getting my car in with other audiziners besides just showing up?

Oh, and my 3 and 7 year old boys will be going to some meets with me. My 3 year old just asked me when I was getting some fresh wheels..... where's Mops at?

It's been a while for me as well but typically you can pay for exhibition (Sat/Sun) for yourself and caravan with peeps. Alternative is you sign up when stokes does roll call here to get AZ discount for Exhibition and caravan/park next to AZ tent.

As far as wheels, thinking about FlowFormed HRE's (FF01/FF15) as they're 25% off right now til Jan 3 lol.

Haha I expected more from the B8 guys on welcoming a person like Stokes to their community. Just decided to pop back in the forum a bit and see what hes been posting with the S4 (I took those photos ;D) and am surprised how you guys aren't welcoming him with open arms haha. He had helped me so much throughout the years I wish you guys could understand how BLESSED you are to have this guy in your section now. I could rant about all the things he had helped me with, all the troubles and questions galore, any information and pricing you need, even a helping hand on installing a BOV, doing your headlights for you, I mean the list goes on. You guys will be thankful soon enough though, Stokes it's about time though. I do miss the B7 days, you're car was a beast and a half and I appreciated all the help you gave out in the B7 section and I expect you to learn and do the same for these guys. Hopefully I will be seeing some of you guys at waterfest next year! If you ever see a white evo x with audizine plates its probably me. Anyways, if you guys need any help just bother Stokes haha he is super helpful and really good at organizing events etc etc etc. He organized a bunch of h2oi meet up points, properly gauged routes and made it easy to pick others up on the caravan. Enjoy the S4 stokes! Looking forward to our next shoot

That would be awesome. I would love to see a huge turnout from the B8 S4 section. I usually post up in the Tri-State section around the beginning of June with information on how to join the Audizine Tent City at Waterfest. Be sure to be on the look out for that thread.

That's more of a good reason to go next year [up] If you sign up during the Audizine roll call, you are also granted exclusive access so you don't have to wait in the general entrance line.
