So last week, after finding out my Stop-Tech BBK was having caliper issues, I decided to look into the ECS Stage 2 Q5 BBK with one-piece slotted rotors. Seeing as though the Stop-Tech calipers are $900 a piece to replace, the Q5 kit seemed like a great alternative(Whole kit was $1139 at time of order) while I rebuild the Stop-Techs. I placed the order on Tuesday and was told that the calipers were not in stock and that they would have them by Friday. I said that was fine and paid for overnight shipping so I could receive them by Monday. My car is currently at the dealer and I'm driving a loaner A5 in the meantime, so I wanted to get the kit swapped on as soon as possible. So Friday comes along, no shipping notice. Saturday comes and I get an email saying shipping is delayed until Monday. Monday comes, still no shipping notice. I call ECS and was told they were waiting on the rotors to arrive from a supplier and that it would be in that day and should ship. I got forwarded to my sales reps voicemail and left him a message to call me back. Tuesday comes, they still haven't shipped. Called again and was told that they were being unpacked and might not ship until Friday. Needless to say, I was pretty upset as it had been a week, my card had been charged, and my kit still hadn't shipped and I needed time to paint it before I took it back to the dealer for installation. I get forwarded to my sales rep again and leave a message(he works later in the day). I then get ahold of a guy named Chris in Customer Service, and this is where things start to turn around. Chris listened to my story and understood that I was in a hurry to get my kit installed so I could get my car back. Chris checked on the two-piece rotors to see if they had any available and they did. He had them manually pulled and put in my kit so it would ship out immediately.....at no extra cost to me. Kit shipped out yesterday and I received a tracking number from Chris as soon as they did. Not only that, but my sales rep Matt, who was sick on Monday(which is why he didn't return my first call), called me back as soon as he got in, apologized for the delay, and offered to take care of me on my next order. Now, I could have gotten on here the moment things went wrong and blasted ECS for the screw up, but I didn't. I gave them time to correct the issue and that is exactly what they did. It's a busy time of year, things get hectic and delayed, people get sick, and sometimes things just don't go as smoothly as we would like. Being in the retail world myself, I totally understand this and applaud ECS for handling things the way that they did and taking care of a loyal customer. Whoever the ECS rep is on here, please give my thanks to Chris in Customer Service, Matt in Sales, and Phil in Customer Service(who listened to me bitch and whine). You've absolutely kept another customer!

Well, clearly I'm satisfied. Did you not read the title? It was a shout out, which implies there's a back story to it. Sorry you wasted, what, a whole two minutes of your life reading this?

Satisfied after a week delay in shipping and they pretty much waived shipping costs on the rotors? And didn't refund the overnight shipping premium? I fail to see where this is a redemption story on ECS part.

They upgraded the 1 piece rotors he orderd To the 2piece ones at no cost.

They also didn't charge me the full overnight shipping charge.

Yep. These will do just fine until my stoptechs are rebuilt, or I may decide to keep them on and sell the stoptechs. Haven't decided yet

Yeah, bought a bunch of stuff from them recently. They even match others low prices. I am in the process of returning something so I'll know if the return process is as painless as there buying process.

Nothing. These calipers are plug and play. The ECS kit came with pre-loaded(w/pads) unfinished calipers, two-piece drilled/slottted rotors, stainless brakelines, and brake fluid. All it needed was a little paint.
