Car sounds sick !!! yea kinda saw that coming before even watching the video . If maybe it wasent an "s" it would have been close . Nice run regardless and u row through the gears nicely .

I had no idea the C63 was that quick
I had a similar situation with one in the exact color from a dig. Once I had the 60ft it was all downhill from there. He pulled me like I was standing still.

Even the older m156 c63's with some minor bolt ons and a tune would beat our cars in stage 2 form .

imagine what the new w205 c63 with tune + full exhaust can do? the tune alone should add ~100whp/100 wtq

At my office the COO has an S63 AMG sedan and CEO has S63 AMG coupe. These two cars are stupid fast and big cars at that! That C63S seems to be just as fast!

Easily that much , all these new v8 twin turbo cars are becoming insane once tuners crack into them .
The new c63s traps around 120/122 stock form once tuned with downpipes and some 109 easily 130s with tires

I really love my S4 the way the power delivery is and the overall feeling of a smooth power curve, but this car for its time and what it is against should have honestly came with a turbos..😒

I beat a c63 amg (2009?) but barely 1/4mile. He said he had catless headers and thats it. Stock tune, stock everything else.
My LC actually worked and was timed right, I had him 1/8 easy then he was catching up very quickly.

Apparently not familiar with AMG's past/present line up.
I actually thought it was closer than I was initially expecting when I clicked. I'm not familiar with the S4 in the vid but I wonder how some of the big boys in this platform would fare.

I'm surprised he kept up so well? I mean he starts walking away Harder past 90, but really it was very close below 100, really impressed that's on 93!?
Shoot, I would've thought the twin turbo v8 63 would've trounced him, this was a respectable difference. Realistically....from a dig, I think the results could be way different. Rwd c63, cold weather? Good luck . Great job. Man that's good for 93. Interesting he has the headers.

My buddy had a Mercedes gts and did downpipes, midpipes and weistec tune, same motor as that c63s. It was insane, fastest car I've ever been in.

racing with the windows down creates big drag as speed rises. I would try it again with the windows rolled up the entire run and not just at the end. Did both cars have a passenger?
Great showing in the GIAC car, stage 2 93 octane and almost keeping up with a TT V8 up top. It would be interesting to know which S/C pulley he has as GIAC has two different pump files (the Forge file tops at 17* of timing, and the AWE file tops at 23* of timing on 93 pump, both files have the same profiles on race mode). Makes you wonder how it would fair up on the race file with that C63S.

i'm confused. wouldn't it be interesting to know what file he is running as opposed to S/C pulley or does GiAC have different s/c pulley to match, one for the awe and one for the forge?
that's a moral victory if i've ever seen one.
(also fwiw i just googled c63s curb weight = 3,803 lbs) moderately heavy for a coupe.

From a dig to 100mph I'd say it would be very close for the OP.
Also your exhaust sounds amazing. Best sounding B8 S4 I've personally ever heard.

S4 did well all things considered. c63s is fast. They have the mph to run mid 11s stock but they prob won't 60ft nearly good enough to do that.
You're not likely to beat a car with 33% more displacement in a roll on when both are boosted on pump gas and weight/trans are about the same.

You're not likely to beat a car with 33% more displacement in a roll on when both are boosted on pump gas and weight/trans are about the same.
with an aggressive tire and deflated the right amount (the norm for rwd) it has the potential to surprise you
the old e55 could run low 10's if I remember correctly. you know anything about those?
mercedes has been making heavy pigs fast for a long time. I personally think they have gotten much better at it. some people just don't realize it started way back then.

Weistech just ran 10.9 @ 131 in their car with slicks and stage 2. stage 2 is putting 531HP 634TQ at the wheels
no E85 files yet and the ECU is locked with crazy encryption. MB hid the ECu down in the wheel well so removing it to flash is about a 3 hour job. you can run an E85 mix to get more power but no straight up E85 yet.
oh and the recently released coupe is wider and larger tires in the back. guy ran 11s right off the showroom floor. not bad at all

yep. very impressive numbers with down pipes and a tune. you don't even need a catback. the down pipes are where most of the restriction is but they are a bitch to get out unless you cut them. most people drop the motor so they can save the stock pipes.

i was a little worried coming from the DSG that the trans would ferel sluggish. i was happy to find that i really haven't noticed any difference in the shifting.

thanks. yes i had the Black S4 and it drove me crazy trying to keep it clean. I realized all my cars in Forza have been white and black so i decided to get one in real life. I wanted polar white at first but this is what they had on the lot and a really love the color. its almost a matte in certain lighting. A few people i know have it in black and it really is beautiful color on this car.

from a dig the S4 takes off and beats it to the 330' after that the traction issues are not a problem and the C63 takes off like a rocket. here are my timeslips. my fully modded S4 and my C63s w exhaust and filters
60' 330' 1/8 mph 1000 1/4 MPH
S4 1.712 5.062 7.776 90.41 10.103 12.053 115.73
C63 2.184 5.374 7.909 96.23 10.073 11.894 124.190
as you can see the S4 hung on just through the 1/8 but then it was over. The problem is traction. its just hard to find on this car. especially after racing the AWD S4 for 4 years where you just mash and go.
