Maybe Immobilizer

Hey guys so long story short. So I did the LCD repair on my cluster yesterday and hooked it back up. And went inside for 30 min. I came back out opened the door and I saw my cluster not coming alive. So I put the key in and I noticed the immobilizer sign and the battery sign on the dash. Anyway my car will crank but no start. It is the same key it's always been. Any ideas where to? Always check fuses first- I think there's one for the cluster.
Then Pull the cluster out and double check the big connectors on the back are seated properly. If they ARE, then find someone with Vag Com to scan the cluster module and see what error it reports. Beyond that, if it worked okay before you did the LCD repair...and it doesn't work now? .... then it's possible you have made a mistake in some soldering.

The fuses Are good. It's weird though, the 40amp fuse for the ECU was blown, it didn't fix the problem though. I did a scan prior to finding out the ECU fuse was blown and it pulled nothing so I'm assuming the ECU control the OBD2 port also? And I also replaced the key in my fob thinking that it would work and now my fob doesn't work so I don't know where to go from here?

Ok a little confused- so AFTER replacing the 40a fuse if you put the key in and turn it to ACC position neither the cluster center display OR the digital clocks/ ODO turns on?
ALSO- you can scan the Instruments (17) module and have NO errors?
Also- you have NO errors when scanning the ECU / engine module?

Aside from the Immo issue: If you turn the key and the cluster does NOT come on then it's either a fuse, bad connection at the back of cluster or you've fudged up your cluster during the LCD repair.

The Immo issue is a different problem to deal with after we figure out why your cluster stays dark with the key on.

When I ran codes today it said there were no codes. I am using the carista OBD2

You need to use an AUDI tool like VAGCom to scan. OBDII just checkd OBDII codes in the main engine ECU.
