Well, I've gone and bought another vehicle. A HONDA RIDGELINE. Yes, I know there are some of you that are not fans (Evil & Snawb) but I really like it. Besides, I needed something to haul the little ones around in. The woman was getting tired of me yelling at them every time they messed with anything in the car. ha ha.

And who says Honda and Audi can't live under the same roof...

were i to buy a japanese full-size truck, it would be a Tundra... toyota's been in the truck-making business forever compared to Honda.

though, Honda does make nice family vehicles, and I have yet to drive one, so...

what do those ridgelines go for, anyhow?

I got the base model RT, listed for $28,200. AWD, power all around, keyless entry, yada yada. The only difference between the RT and the RTS/RTL is Sunroof, navi, wheels, etc. The engine is the same for all (3.5l vtec w/247hp).

I'm actually leasing the vehicle for $252/month! That's pretty damn good for almost a $30k truck. I looked around and couldn't even get a base model Colorado for that price.

how much did you put down on a lease that low? how many months and what's due at the end of the term? do you have limited mileage?

We traded in the woman's '00 Saturn with 64K miles on it. On paper, they gave us $3300. I get 12k miles/year and nothing is due at the end of the lease (just walk away). The lease is for 42 months.

The current program they're running is $279/month with $1500 down (+tax, title, blah blah). I got my payment at $252 with no money out of my pocket (other than the trade). Not bad IMO.
