IS300s use hids. They're yellow obviously which i think is a low number. It would be sweet, but it's a lot to spend on fog lights

Not really feeling the yellow look.... but point well taken..

IS300's don't run HID's in the fogs. Search it out. Quite a few of us have done it, the problem is the light does not get dispersed correctly without having a projector used.

Do it..yellow 3k HID fogs cut through the nastiest of bad weather conditions. Search and you will find your anwsers. Them being yellow and combined with 5K and up HID lowbeams..Is just a plus. Sick looking!

I have a 3000k HID kit in my stock A4 foglights. They are bright as hell and will blind you if you are not in my car. If I were to do it again I would buy some hella micro DE foglights (projector style) and put HID in those. Then you would get a much nicer beam pattern and more light on the road than other drivers eyeballs.

Anyways, here is my writeup when I did it.

Try http://www.supremepowerparts.com/ for the Precision Optics bulbs
....then http://www.xpel.com/products/colored_headlamp.asp for the headlight/foglight coverings.

i did the hids too, 20V is right...their bright as hell. i used the 6000ks and now i have matching 6000ks in my stock projectors and highbeams. i still need to do the fogswitch mod, 3 pairs of hids should be bright enough. pics here (http://photobucket.com/albums/c171/seanbartsch/)

thanks, i got a bit obsessed with lighting when i first bought my car. it was expensive but i would do it again. i live in the middle of nowhere and it gets DARK. lots of deer around here so its a safety issue. i ised the same HID kits off ebay that 20VTURBOA4 used. so it was about 500 bucks to do my fogs and high beams. about the same price as ecodes, puts things into perspective.

lordy since you are running 10K HID's in your headlights i would suggest either the yellow 3K fogs that these guys are suggesting or 6K, which are white w/ a little purple so you can get the most amount of light out onto the road. fyi anything higher than 8K starts to lose a serious amount of light displancement on the road, which is why i wouldn't suggest getting matching 10K fogs

TNX guys I will take your opinions in consideration.. I just saw a BMW a few weeks ago running 10k's on lowers and uppers, thought i looked nice, and it was the first time i seen that. I might just sve my money and buy my exhaust or intake.. my car needs the hp..

Sounds good! Right now I can barely tell that my high beams are there with my HID lowbeams and fogs running now. So the high beams are basically useless.
