Well this is the last thing I replace before I tear the engine down to try and clean off the pick up screen.. However I can't find one from the sponsors or online.

Anyone know a good place besides a dealer to buy a oil pressure sending unit for the 1.8t?

I assume this is an oil pump, you could try europartsdirect.com or try calling a few of the sponsors, some of them may carry it, but they don't put things like that on the website.

Well the oil pump looks to be next if it's not the sending unit. I mean the lights been going off for a year or better now..

The oil pressure light has been going off for a year? Are you kidding me???

I'd check your cam bearings to be sure there's no visible scoring or signs of excess heat up there. Sludge issues are all too common in the 1.8s, you could be in big trouble you know. As you probably know, Audi is aware of the problem and has a repair procedure available to renew sludged engines. Why don't you borrow an oil pressure gauge and be certain there's nothing funny going on, low or no oil pressure is a very serious problem.
If it is sludge, you will need more than just an oil pump.
