Nothing major, searched the forum, but maybe someone can lend a bit of advice.

Yesterday, my first commute to work in the new ride, I had my brushed stainless coffee cup. No problems at all. Today I had my chrome finish one. Holy crap, it makes a nasty squealing sound every time I lift it out of the cupholder. I'm thinking a touch of graphite on each of the retainers to make this stop before I'm forced to cut my ears off. Any alternate suggestions?
Used the windshield washer nozzles for the first time this morning. Totally aimed wrong. Driver's side doesn't make it halfway up the windshield, passenger side goes right over the top. I'm presuming a needle in the nozzles can adjust where they're going and also read about replacing the jet sprayers with fan sprayers. Anyone done this? Is this sprayer (http://www.audipartssuperstore.com/Genuine-Audi-Part-Number-4G0-955-987-A-p/4g0-955-987-a.htm)the correct one for a fan pattern over the jet pattern?

And thank god for this forum - I keep reading about stuff I didn't see at all in a scan through the manual and wouldn't have found otherwise - like the button on the bottom of the wiper stalk. I had no clue that was even there, lol.

I did take my car to Pure Motorsport yesterday and had them do quite a few VAG-COM mods from the stickied thread. Again, forum knowledge FTW.

Some people have had good luck replacing the washer nozzles with a different part from VW. Here's some info:

I wouldn't be butchering the holder, lol. Just applying a touch of graphite powder to the prongs.

Thanks for the tips on the washer sprayers. I'll try adjusting these and order the VW version if that doesn't work out.

Does the 2013 update maps via CD/DVD or SD Card? ***After further searching, it looks like 2013 maps are tougher to update outside of a dealership and high costs - is this correct?***

Another question I'll put here rather than in a separate thread:

I'm going to be receiving my Valentine 1 Direct Wire Connector (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RA38XEK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) Thursday and wanted to get it set up before I head to Laughlin on Friday. I've read up on wiring these into the HomeLink power feed - the version I read said that the brown wire was the hot lead. Is this still correct for 2013 cars? I suppose I could pull out my multi-meter and check, but if someone can let me know for certain which wires to use on this, I'd be appreciative.
