I know most of the people on here own the roc euro or CTS or USP intakes. Haven't heard many people on here who own a Injen short ram air.

So for those who do own the injen intake, what the regular filter cleaning look like. Do you get a new filter altogether? if so, can it like a K&N filer or does it have to be one from injen themselves? Or can it be just cleaned and reused? if so, what is the cleaning method?

I started having these questions when i read through a recent thread on USP intakes (http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/722149-USP-Intake-owners-check-your-fiter)

thanks

Clean it like you would any other cone filter. If you aren't in a dusty climate it shouldn't get that dirty. Knock off the loose dirt...just watch this. lol

Seems like just shaking it off and/or vacuuming isn't much of a cleaning.

I unfortunately live in the land of the haboobs aka Arizona. I guess I'll look at the integrity of the filter and clean it.

As an FYI it is my understanding that Injen uses Amsoil EA reusable filters so you may want to just get their cleaning kit.

I'm not seeing any kit on Amsoil's site.

But same info on cleaning (tap dirt, vacuum or blow).
