View Full Version : Anyone using Q5 Calipers on their S4?
Many people have stated the Q5 calipers were a good fit and upgrade for the S4. However I have not heard any feedback as to there performance. Especially if anyone has tracked their vehicle with them etc. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

Also curious about this. I also like the deal of a modular upgrade, you could do pads and rotors first then calipers later if you wanted.

I got them. Installed like 5k miles ago. Really pleased with them. Sorry have not tracked it so I can't provide feedback on that. One thing to note...the Brembo pads that come with them are REALLY noisy. I swapped to stoptech ceramic and they are perfect. I think for tracking the car, you may want to consider a bbk. But I'll let others chime in for that.

I looked at these too, many existing threads already. That said, I track my S5 (road courses), so when the time comes, I will go BBK, so I can do a 380mm rotor for heat dissipation. Q5 leaves you with the stock rotor size.

If say slightly less when cold. But after the first stop, they bite better than I thought ceramics would. The pedal feel is great. Whenever someone drives my car they always comment on how good the brakes feel. Which is strange. Never had people comment on my brake set up that much. Lol.

anyone who drive my car ( s4 stock) will say the brake are really goood ! ( its not because they have ''harsh'' initial bite, that they are necesserly good or good braking distance, but that's the average joe's opinion)
My thought was.. ceramic pad on the s4 stock caliper loose its initiale bite, but I thought maybe with the extra power from the Q5, the initial bite of the oem setup(brembo pad) could be simply too harsh. Good to know the ceramic are performing fine.
