I've searched.

From the right side of the engine bay, a long wire,

where does it connect to?

Pretty sure it's for the connector on the AC condenser

Thanks for the response Believer, but isnt the purp/green one for the compressor?

EDIT:

Or you're talking about the radiator looking like thing?

That is the compressor not the condenser. The condenser is the radiator like unit that sits in front of the cooling system radiator.

Ah, word. Thanks for the clarification. You're probably correct.

I believe.

Thanks man.

The harness is supposed to rout down along the inside bottom of the core support and come out of the hole in the core support on the passenger side and then connect to the condenser. If I'm right lol

I actually removed my whole AC system a while back. I'm hoping I just forgot to remove this connection haha. I was worried about the length (quite long), but the way you describes it seems to make sense.

Google says coolant temperature sensor.

Word. I think they are the same plastic connection piece, used several places, with varying wires going through them. My CTS in in place [up] Thank you though.

Wait, are there 2 coolant sensors?

There are two temp sensors. 1 at the back of the head in the flange and the other will either be a 3 pin in the radiator on the drivers side or a 2 pin? In the lower rad hose. Neither of the latter use this connector

Interesting. I've replaced my top CTS several times. My coolant temp barely gets to above halfway to stay there, almost always a 1/4 on the gauge. Could this secondary sensor have anything to do with that?

But word. The secondary sensor is atleast plugged in.

Yea the secondary sensor is only for auxiliary fan activation as far as I know

If your temp is not getting up and you've replaced your primary CTS your thermostat is the likely culprit
