So past two days this has come up sporadically, each time I lose cruise control. When I go to scan with VAGCOM it isn't showing and I can't figure out which value block to check. I think I've checked them all now and can't find the fault code, any tips or areas to look into??

Mine dropped out (ACC and Audi Braking Guard unavailable) once on a mountainous freeway. It seems to have corrected itself sometime later and has not happened again. Look around the perimeter of you car to look for damaged sensors, dirt, ect..
There are forum threads posted on this, if you do a Google seach on: https://www.google.com/#q=acc+and+audi+braking+guard+not+available

Yeah I saw those, the items for correction are kinda all over the place. Was hoping to get it more narrowed down. Someone said something about the sensor angles gonna look into that.

Have you had the front bumper off for anything?
Although a straight removal and refixing should not cause an issue, if the actual sensors are disturbed then you can have issues. As far as lm aware, sensor recalibration is an expensive, dealer only proceedure - due to the safety implications if its not accurate.
I have this now and then, comes back online after a few minutes.
Seems to be the same places triggering this, like tunnels, so I assume it's a safety
thing disabling it.

Have not had the bumper off, ugh I wonder if there's a way to align at home....

Are you under warranty?
I would be very reluctant to try any alignment work yourself as you may end up disabling the whole system. If you've not had the bumper off, and not had any impact on the bumper, then I don't think its an alignment issue.
