I am getting a ridge on the outside edges of the tread. It is only happening on the right side of the car. Tire pictured has less than 3000km on it.

Looks like cracking in the rubber?? You mentioned the tires have minimal mileage but have you checked the manufacture date coding on them? Also hate to ask a "Captian obvious" question but are they inflated to spec? I'd be paying a visit to the shop you had them installed at. Could possibly be an alignment issue but that cracking should be investigated further.

Here is the other side for comparison. It is perfect. PSI is correct. Date code is 0816 so they are pretty new. Guess I'll get an alignment.

Am I crazy or does it look like there is two different layers of rubber joined together and they are delaminating? Because it seems like the part that is coming off is a different colour.

Looks like the tire is defective, go back to seller and have them inspect tire .

As I stated in my previous post....... That cracking is not right, definitely go back where you bought them before dropping cash on an alignment.
