crackling from AMI interface

I've got a strange issue with some crackling coming from the speakers when playing music through the ami interface ( AMI to 3mm headphone jack )


It hasnt always done this but its gotten progressively worse. I thought it was my AMI to headphone adapter, but i got a new one and it still does it.

Anybody else run into this?

Maybe your source volume is turned too high?

thats possible, but ive always had it like this and it hasnt always crackled

Are you running 2 cables? (AMI to 30 pin being one, and 30 pin to headphone jack being the second)

If you are, check the other cable as well.

nope, AMI to 3mm headphone only. Same thing happens with 2 different cables
