Hey guys I am looking to see if anyone has knowledge about the oem supercharger coolant pump, or auxillary pump. I am aware that the oem connector for the pump has 3 wires, 12v, Signal and Ground. What I am looking to do is with the car off, I want to be able to apply voltage or a signal to turn the pump on and circulate coolant through the supercharger and heat exchangers. But I need to know more info on the oem pump to know if I can just simply apply 12v and it will turn on(don't think that's the case) or what I need to do. Any help would be great. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

WOW that is exactly what I was looking for! Thanks xpoweruk. So in theory if I apply 12v to the signal wire (yellow/blue wire) then the pump should run 100% ? I guess im curious as to what the exact voltage is that I need to send to that wire, because I obviously don't want to fry or burn out anything.

If the signal line to the pump is broken or if a short circuit to positive occurs in the signal line, the pump will enter an emergency mode delivering 100 % output

Could be done either way

But do you think it will work with the car OFF/just in accessory mode? I feel like for that emergency mode to kick in the car would need to be on, there would be no reason for the ecu to activate emergency mode with the car off, right?

Depends on if the 12v source is on switched power. Meaning does the pump see power irrespective of ignition switch position, constant 12v? If it does then you just need to trick it through the signal wire to get it to turn on.

I believe it sees 12v irrespective of ignition switch because with the car off I used a volt meter and the power wire was reading 12v, so I believe it waits for the signal wire to trigger the pump. But the question is with the car off does that signal wire still work the same as if the car is on.
