I ordered my '17 S6 Prestige for 6% off of MSRP. Prices will obviously vary depending on options and dealer.

this is more in line with my experience.
figure out a price you want, a price you're willing to accept (higher than the price you want, be reasonable), and start with the price you want. See if anyone will bite. If you go in with just one price, you have to remain open to the possibility of simply not buying one. If you go in with NO price in mind, you'll likely pay more than you could have.
It seems like you should be able to get a better deal now that the 17's are being ordered. I wonder if the '16 lack of carplay will help push the price down too.

Just bought mine middle of June after I placed the order in March. Total configured price was $87,000 I got the car for $82,650 so about 5% off. I was happy with that, especially since I ordered the car to my specifications.

Just picked up lightly used 2016 S6 (6500 miles) 77000. Loaded. MSRP 101k. Not sure if I will ever buy new again with discounts like this.

Wow. Nice deal! I had a similar experience - picked up a 2015 S7 with 11k miles on it - 104k sticker for 72k. I tend to agree - a ton of huge discounts for 12 month or less old cars. I guess if you have money to spare, new is great. I just feel like I got a lot more car than I would have new . . .

Just bought mine last month. Sticker was $83.4K, got 5% off MSRP before $2500 rebates.

There is currently a $2000 manufacturer rebate on S6 so I'd expect 6% off the price before the destination charge plus an additional $2000 off plus any other available rebates - owner loyalty, or rebate for switching from a BMW, Lexus , etc. which is an additional $1000.

Yeah when I said the 6% off that wasn't including any factory rebates, conquest or loyalty deals.

I have to agree with goliath. I’ve always loved the new cars I’ve bought in the past, but I bought a used S6 at an amazing price. I live in Cali too. If you look hard enough and are patient you can find some really good deals.

Last day of the month is usually the best time to buy. For best deals, go with a volume dealer. PM'd you some info.

Loyalty discount is if you own an Audi. Conquest discount is if you own other luxury brands. I don't know all of the qualifying brands (check on Audi website) but I'm pretty sure Lexus is one of them. Also, if you join Audi Club USA, you can get 6% off after 6 months of membership. Someone else can correct me on this but I think this is still in effect. All well worth looking into.
In my case, I got a little over 6% off and $2,500 conquest cash. The discount amounts change year to year. Hope this helps.

Do you have to trade the Lexus in or can you buy outright? I know of a 2016 Sepang Blue with the Arras Red interior with only a few thousand miles, pretty sure it's priced in the mid seventies. It has some aftermarket goodies on it as well.

I have a 2007 Lexus GS350 with 58k miles on it. Not sure if I will get much on Trade-in. It's excellent condition I never drove it
