My car has 56k miles on it and am wanting to put the H&R springs on it. I've had cars with coilovers and my last car(VW CC) was on Airride. I just want to drop it a little and still have a nice ride quality. So with the miles whats your thoughts on replacing the struts at the same time or just throw the springs on and see what happens? If I do struts and the H&R springs I'm already at coilover prices....I love the ride and don't want to lose the comfort. Thanks.

At 56k I would go ahead and do the struts at the same time. You will already have it all taken apart might as well do it while your in there.

Not what I wanted to hear LOL. Soon should I just do coilers? was the struts are about $800 and then springs are $250.

just to clarify what I was saying. I was making the assumption that you were probably going to pay for the install, so labor wise it could be smart to just do the struts while your in there. But if you are doing it yourself and don't mind possibly having to do it again later if your struts don't like the increased compression and start to fail, then just to the springs now.
