I purchased one of these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Audi-RS6-RS7-RS5-RS4-RS3-Carbon-Fibre-DSG-Red-Stitch-Steering-Wheel-Flat-Bottom-/142021857220?hash=item2111298fc4:g:qOkAAOSwvg9XXAb i

Note that most wheels do not come with the airbag - mainly because there are so many different options, and also the shipping of explosives ("the airbag") can be problematic.

Stunning wheel, and top quality. Here it is installed in my S7 (White stitching)

The link you provided - Is this the same seller you purchased your wheel from? Thanks, Michael

Where did you get the wheel installed? Or did you install yourself?

Self install.

It's a 5 minute job if you have the right tools - mainly a splined socket to undo the bolt holding the wheel to the column.

There are a few "How to Guides" on swapping the wheel out, in the forum if you search.

The airbag doesn't come over from the original correct? Where you guys getting the new airbags?

Correct, the airbag does not come with a new wheel - although there are sometimes exceptions if someone is selling a complete package of wheel + AirBag.

If you have a round OEM wheel, the airbag will not fit any flat bottomed wheel, due to there being a different mounting system between the round and flat bottomed wheels.

The other thing to keep in mind is that not all airbags are created equal, even if they look similar. The airbag wire connectors differ between models.

The majority of eBay sellers don't have a clue when it comes to airbags. There descriptions of will fit A2/3/5/6/7/8/RS etc. etc. are wide of the mark and unless you get a part number and confirm using EKTA, there is a chance it will not fit.

After being through this twice, I ended up purchasing from the dealer. Its not a cheap item!

im really thinking of getting it, but messing with the airbag is not something I want to do. Its not worth my life for a steering wheel lol. Im thinking at this point since you had few issues and had to get the airbag directly from Audi its prob not worth the headache.

Unplugging an air bag is really VERY easy and safe

SO then getting one shouldn't be an issue. If i get the S6 with CF trim i can just pop my airbag off and put it directly on the new one?

No - see comments above. If you get a flat bottom wheel, the airbag from your stock 2013 steering wheel will not fit. You'll need to source the correct airbag separately.
