In the cryptic APR post about a new mod for the 3.0 I hear a lot of people talking about a "dual pulley." Anyone care to explain?

Thanks

Traditional Dual Pulley is a smaller SC pulley (Many vendors offer this as part of Stage II) and a larger Crank Pulley (Traditionally JHM however, far more options exist now)

For the sake of progression Dual Pulley is about a pulley ratio of 3.1

There is a really big thread dedicated to dual pulleys and a fairly new one for higher pulley ratios [:)]

you have a legitimate question and I am right there with you - I feel like I woke up one morning and everyone on audizine just seems to have this innate understanding of the disussion going on in the dual pulley thread but the more i read the more my head spins. Right now it looks like no one really knows anything other than that the dual pulley set up spins the supercharger faster, produces substantially more power and a number of folks are currently r&d'ing various pulley sizes to see what performs the best. In the mean time, i am waiting, watching and trying to garner some greater level of understanding for when I pull the trigger after I see what APR has cooking. I think, and i could be wrong, but I think some of the faster s4's in the past were running a dual pulley setup for instance i believe primetime had or has had a dual pulley set up long before it became public knowledge but that doesn't help you answer your question.
