So a quick update. Originally I have been going through coils like it was my job. I finally schedule some time to get a diag on it and it turns out the PCV valve was leaking and they said it is a good chance that a majority of my issues can be due to the pcv. So i order a new one and install it.
As i'm driving with the new PCV I noticed right off the bat that every time i take my foot off the gas i can hear the turbo winding down (very noticeable). Sure enough CEL pop up and i use my generic code puller (sorry dont have the exact codes right now) and there are a codes up the wazoo. Codes for fuel pressure (P0089) as well as a bunch of other lean bank codes (again, dont have the exact code)
This is where things get confusing. I notice the new PCV does not have a check valve, and the old PCV valve did. I do a quick google and it turns out that depending on when the 2007 was produced it could either have a check valve in the pcv or a check valve in the metal breather tube. So naturally i check the date my car was made and it is NOT supposed to have a check valve in the PCV.
Which means the old PCV i had was the wrong part all along and the new one is the correct one. But now that I have the correct one all these codes are flying, the power seems to be lacking (takes forever to accelerate in higher gears, and that turbo spooling down every time i let off the gas. Has anyone had issues close to this?
Current setup: APR K04, HPFP, injectors.
When I switch to stock mode, no issues
