This is true. My first set lasted about 6 months before the sharpness of the image started to fade. Wind Fire Auto is a bit more expensive than the eBay brands, but with free logo replacements it's worth the extra dollars. I have a spare set on hand and when I replace them I just order another set.

It would still be something I think is really cheezy and not what I would want. However, I wouldnt take the time to remove it if it came factory as it wouldnt be worth it to me. But if it were an option on a new car I would definitely choose to not have it.

This is useful for me because my bride thinks there are only 4 different cars in the world anyway: Every sedan is a Camry, every small car is a Ford Fiesta, every truck is a Ford F150, and every SUV is a Suburban.

My old Mazdaspeed 3? Ford Fiesta. My Jaguar XFR? Camry. My S5? Another Camry. My F150? An F150... oh wait she got that one right.

Just bought a 2017 A4 and it did not come with these stock. It was an option available to buy and install from the parts dept for about $200.

Must depend on which ones you get and where. Mine came from Amazon; Wind & Fire Auto was the company. Have had mine for 12 months and they look great. Only one issue, user error, was leaving them in while they tinted my windows which faded the inserts badly as the lights get hot when left on for long periods of time. Free replacements though so it only costs me like $3k in shipping for another set.

I think doing the fronts only looks great. All four is a bit much. Audi Rings is the best IMO. I get compliments all the time.

I posted these last year too, had 4 of them I got for $7 each. The ones in my back doors both started to rattle like crazy so I put the old lights back in. Front ones are fine and no noise. I got the S4 ones, still really like em for $7 each.
