b7 headlights

im getting an a4 with headlight package and i wanted to get rid of all the amber in the front blinkers and get white ones also wanted to replace city lights with xeons and xeon fogs can anyone help? also is there any bulbs i can buy for the main headlight to give them more of a blueish look?

I'm not positive on this, but I think the front turn signal lights are already clear on the B7s. I saw this on a DIY from someone who clear cornered their B7.

There is an amber cap on it but you can't really see it from the side...

You can easily change the light settings via a VAG tool such that the turn signals only light up when you use the turn signal and then remain off when not in use, which I have done.

The city light is actually a small bulb and you're definetly not going to be able to replace this with a xenon light but could replace it with something whiter like an LED, though it doesn't have the proper resistance and it throws a burnt bulb warning. You could try and remove the bulb while connected and tuck it somewhere such that it doesn't show up.

To replace the fogs with xenons, it is possible. If you're talking about replacing the stock xenon bulbs with something bluer you can probably replace them with other xenon bulbs with a different colour temperature. Note that using bluer bulbs may decrease the effective range.

I think he means "Xenon match" blue tinted bulbs, not actual Xenons. Most people throw that word/term around much too loosely.

I need to do that blinker bulb VAG mod ASAP.
