Tried to install the roc euro intake on my 14 s4, ran into a snag.

The intake is resting on the heat shield, which I understand isn't suppose to. Seems like the pipe that goes onto the throttle body isn't quite in and so it's not holding it up.

I will try to tinker in the morning around with the amount of the silicone connector exposed as per the instructions but don't know if that's the problem.

Anyone have ideas how to fix it? Attached picture below but it doesn't help since it's already resting on the heat shield.

Also, is my filter too close to the xenon transformer? It's really close to the wire...

Maybe try to push the pipe in a bit and rotate a bit into the coupler at the throttle body. Turn your filter around so you don't see the seem. That's a heavy duty clamp you have on the filter.

Thanks! That worked. Ended up measuring the coupler at 1.5 cm and adjusted the silicone accordingly. Then pushed the pipe and rotated a little into the coupler. I ended up putting three clamps on as two felt like there was some wiggle. The heat shield is sure tight not much room left before it hits the pipe.

As for the filter, bought an afr dry filter as roc euro never sent me a filter with the order and they never respond to my messages. Didn't know it came with a clamp so just bought a heavy duty one to be sure.

Call and get your filter then sell it. They owe you one.

Glad it worked out for you.
