Trying to identify this vacuum valve that's right up against the firewall.
Noticed that the small hose connection under it cracked off and has been dangling probably for well over a month now.
No wonder my idle has been rough!!!
Appreciate any help!
Mahalo!

That small hose connects to your evap N80 valve.

My bad, I should have been more specific.
I was changing out my N80 valve when I noticed the broken vacuum line.
The line you're referring to is the line I cut to replace the N80.
The part I'm asking about is above the cut line with the black shiny hose coming out of the left side of it.
Thanks

Mine broke in the same exact spot. I haven't replaced it but it does cause performance issues. They are expensive I know that.

Thanks, that's what I was looking for.
Another broken part to replace on my Audi with 60k on it.
Getting a little frustrating!!!
I'm sure I'll forget the frustration when everything is up and running. LOL!

I just done see why it cost so much. Its just a check valve and a hard line. Could probably make a metal line for cheaper. I have thought about making an "upgraded" part to replace it because this is the second time I have broken it. Its too fragile for the bottom port. I tried to JB weld it for a temp fix, lasted a few days and then broke again. I have thought about drilling it out and placing a metal pipe with some way to flare it inside but I am not too sure. I do not know if its a common issue but its been a reoccurring issue for me.

Looks like the correct part.. $40 bucks is better than $115-$130 although it is used.

Thanks but I'll probably bite the bullet and buy new.
Audi parts prices are insane.
Better off owning a Porsche! [:D]

I do not mind paying extra for a quality part but I do believe that small parts like this, that are probably made for pennies, shouldn't be so overpriced.
