Hello Audizine! I've been stalking for a while, but just recently signed up for an account. This weekend, I am on the way to Denver to pick up a 2015 Audi S4 with approx 19000 miles on it. My wife just picked up a new '16 Q5 (Suzuka grey metallic with 21" S-Line wheels), so this S4 will be our second Audi. I'm excited, but I just wanted to check in here with the experts.

Are there any issues that are common (problems, maintenance issues) with the 2015 S4? I know that the car had the 5K and 15K services done at Audi, as I called the dealership the vehicle came from to confirm service history. Being a '15 with less than 20k miles on it, it is still under factory warranty (also called Audi USA to confirm). The audi dealership reported no problems with the vehicle, just routine servicing. My only fear is that, since Denver is a 10-hour drive for me, I haven't yet gotten to drive it (though I have driven a 2016 S4). I will certainly give it a thorough test drive before I sign on the dotted line, but I just wanted to know what you all think? The vehicle was leased for 10 months, so I also have this fear that the lessee flogged the hell out of it. Surely, the performance version of the A4 is meant to be driven a little harder. I guess I'm just looking for a little peace of mind before such a large purchase. Anyway, I have a picture here for you all!

congrats bud, i have a 2015 w/ 20k on the odo ... no problems so far .. (well there was one minor one very early on that was quickly taken care of). I think you should be just fine w/ that car, she's sharp looking - enjoy the road trip! There is probably no one more concerned about owning a german auto outside of warranty because I always, and i mean always get burned by them in the past but so far the b8.5 has been rock solid.

Put your fears aside. These are very reliable and capable vehicles. I have a 15 with about the same mileage. No issues and more power than I can safely/legally use in most situations.

Congrats and Enjoy!

Thank you guys. I'll tell you, I test drove a 2016 S4 the weekend before I found this one, and it was fantastic to drive. Sounded great, tons of power, beautiful interior. I'm definitely excited to pick it up!

Options: Stronic Transmission, Black/Lunar (alcantara), Tech Package, Sport Differential, B&O Sound System, Carbon Atlas inlays.

Edit: And the High Gloss Black Optic package

indeed and then you can always tune it and reliably double*scratch that* significantly increase the power - which I just did a few days ago and let me tell you, it is great but regardless you should have a good feeling everytime you get behind the wheel.

I've been doing a ton of research about tuning and mods. If you don't mind me asking, what did you choose? I was looking into APR Stg 2 with pulley vs a simple Chipworke (sp?). Eventually, I'd love an intake and exhaust as well... when my wife lets me. hah

IS the car being sold by Audi Dealer? IF NOT I would be concerned, car may had been TD( future warranty denial ) for some reason by Audi. A car with such low mileage should have been sold by AUDI dealer, if not I would be very concerned. Also if being sold by Audi dealer car should as Audi certified used car, with an extension of Audi original warranty.
If car not being sold by Audi dealer or not being CPO if sold by Audi dealer, there is a real problem. FIND OUT BEFORE YOU GO>

I have already called Audi to confirm car is still under warranty. It is, however, being sold by an Infinity dealer, as it was sold at auction. All of the information in the carfax checks out, no crashes, no lemon, no reported problems, and Audi confirms service has been done according to recommendation.

My first S4 had $32,000 in damage and still no carfax report about the accident or damage. I even went as far as to sent a message to Carfax about it and nothing. Have the car paint checked and looked at by a machanic 200 dollars and peace of mind.

You still do not know if car has been marked by Audi as modified and possibly no warranty. Also you are not getting an extension of the warranty if certified used car. The price should reflect it. I am not trying to through cold water on the deal, just trying to protect you. I do not know if Audi would tell you if car was flagged for modifications. an independent inspection would be worth the money, As far as the car goes.I have a 2015 S4 and love it. No problems but I have only 8500 miles on it, bought new . see my signature

Which infinity dealer? I purchased through Mike Ward on my old G37x and had a good experience. I live up north now near the other Infiity dealer (Dacono or wherever it is)..

I'm close if you want to meet up when you're here for the car pick up.

I bought mine from an Infiniti dealer that traded for it off an Audi lot because it was already tuned [:p]

Just FYI, you can call AoA and make sure that the car has not been flagged TD1.

Also, I would explicitly ask why it is not CPO.
