Will there be E85 to 93/92/91 file switching anytime soon? I know the car will need new HPFP installed.
I'm in for the B8.5 system as long as it gets to the 15% off level.

With our cable you are able to switch tunes at home. Just need our cable, laptop and wifi. And stage 2 with E85 will need a HPFP kit.

So does the car/tune automatically adjust or how do you recommend switching tunes?

So does the car/tune automatically adjust or how do you recommend switching tunes?
No the tune is installed by you. When you are running full E85, you would switch to the E85 tune. If you are running 93 and adding some E85 you would just run the 93 tune. There is no on the fly analyzing and re calibration done.

Waiting to get confirmation on 1 or 2 people and we will be taking orders. Remember the B8S4 AMS Boost Cooler kit does not work with Dynamic Steering, it would need a relocation kit. The B8.5 kit does work with Dynamic Steering. It will be first come first served so the longer you wait, the longer you will wait for the cooler.

If you car has the U-shaped cooler seen here, then you'll need to get the ADS cooler relocation kit from APR? to make fit this kit. My car is a 2010 Prestige and it does not have this cooler. That's why I posted the pic earlier in the thread.

Honestly, the tunes/ECU are good enough that they will compensate on their own. The tunes use different tables/maps by default based on IAT's and other factors, so they'll switch to the more aggressive tables with lower IAT's.

There is a second wave you can be in on that. I went with this one because of the triple pass, extra pump and improved fins. As you know AZ has lots of small stones, sand and what not that can make holes in radiators and coolers.

We will not have a second wave. That was if we went over 10 orders. I can check and see if I can add you. But do you have dynamic steering? If so you will need an APR or AWE relocation kit. The B8 kit with the 15% discount would be $1614.96 plus shippping. LMK ASAP if I can even do it.

I wasn't in on the group buy, but I picked up this package during the 13% off sale right before. Car has been running great (and consistently in 80-90F degree weather) since, but unfortunately I don't have any hard before/after numbers as far as IATs or coolant temps go (since the p3 guage gets IATs pre-charger and all). Everything came from AMS very nicely packed and the shop installing it made several mentions of how well put together everything in the kit was.
It's a bit hard to see behind the stock grill, but I think it looks pretty cool if you get the right angle on it!

I'll keep this in mind. I'm going to give APR a little bit of time to explain whatever it is that they are teasing. If it ends up being a dual pulley tune, I'm sure that they will require us to buy their pulley. Since I'm already at APR stage 2 this would be the most economical choice. If they don't explain their supposed new release relatively soon, I'm going to jump ship and change tunes. At that point I might be in for one of these.

Nice. Thank you very much.
My Alpha cooler arrived today. Well, arrived might not be the correct term. I called UPS to have them hold the packages at the hub. Everything was supposed to be ready for pickup by 10am yesterday. That didn't happen because the truck was delayed in Jacksonville - about five hours away. So I went there today to pick it up and they only had one of the two boxes. Apparently when I called to schedule the hold they only applied it to one of the boxes even though I gave them the tracking numbers for both boxes and asked for both to be held for pickup. The boxes even say 1 of 2 and 2 of 2 so it's clearly a multi box shipment. The UPS employee told me I could go home and wait for the driver to get there. This wasn't an option since I had made plans to have it installed at 11am. I finally convinced them to get ahold of the driver and find out where he was. I was able to catch up with the driver and get the second box. God I hate UPS. Anyway, the install is in progress. I'll post some pictures later. Thanks again to EPL for putting this group buy together. It's 95 degrees out today, so this is a much needed upgrade.

All done and installed. I drove the car for about 45 minutes after the install, and so far I am very happy.
Here are some initial thoughts.
This morning (around 10:30) when I went to pick up the packages from UPS - including driving around town to catch up to the driver to get the box they were supposed to hold at the hub - it was 94 degrees outside per the reading on the gauge cluster. I set my P3 gauge to show IAT so I could get a pre-install reading. While driving it showed IAT ranging from 92-94. I got stuck at a long red light (it turned red just as I was approaching) and IAT quickly rose. By the time the light turned green, it had risen to 117 and looked as though it would have kept going had I not started moving. When I got to the shop, we checked the temps at both the factory heat exchanger and the metal housing of the supercharger. I got readings of 106 and 176 respectively.
When picking up the car after the install, ambient temperature was showing 94 degrees again. I definitely drove the car harder after the install than I had earlier. While at speed, the P3 gauge was showing IAT of 90-92, so a few degrees cooler. By sheer coincidence I got stuck at the same red light as earlier in the day. Once again it turned red as I was approaching. This time IAT rose to 97 and held there. I didn't have a chance to check the Alpha heat exchanger and the supercharger to verify their temperatures. I will do this sometime next week. I did pop the hood when I got home and the supercharger housing definitely feels quite a bit cooler to the touch. The car definitely drives like it would in much cooler weather. Heat soak doesn't seem to be an issue like it was before.
One other thing I noticed is a slight drop in engine oil temperature. Pre-install I would see temps of 222-225 during spirited driving and 212-215 at idle. Driving home, oil temp did not go above 217 while pushing the car hard and it was 208-210 at idle.
As for the install, I can't give too many specifics since I didn't do it myself. I had originally planned to, but I've been too busy lately. Also, the shop I use is excellent and wouldn't trust anyone else with my car. They do a ton of Audis (Loe's car was there being worked on when I was there last week) and I've never heard anyone have a problem with them. They treat my car as if its their own. They did take some pictures during the install which I will post below. I read over the AMS instructions myself, and they are very detailed. So anyone doing this themselves should be ok as long as you aren't a complete novice.
The only negative is that when you turn off the car, you notice that the pump is a bit loud. It's really not an issue and I can handle the increased noise since I am getting vastly improved cooling.
I can't wait until I have some time to take a longer drive and really test it out.

Thanks and great feedback as well as results. Huge change in idling IATs and great bonus on the oil temps. That tells me the motor is also seeing less heat.

I really wish I had logged IATs before. When it hit 117 today it was still climbing. I can only imagine where it would have topped out. This is a must have mod in hot climates even if you aren't tuned.

I can only image what mine hit when it's 115 outside.

Several more shipped!
The last of them hopefully tomorrow!
I'm loving this system so far. It's been in the mid to upper 90s here. This has even made a huge difference for just cruising around town.
Also, since I have completed the install I no longer need the rivet tool. If anyone who didn't buy one needs it we can work something out. Just PM me.

Part of mine arrived yesterday, the pump and reservoir. They left a note that the other box needed a signature. Not sure why one box would and one would not. Luckily I was not waiting on it for install.

The other box's value is probably over $500 so someone has to sign for it.
