my buddy was on the highway and got hit from behind into the car in front.
back bumper had marks from the front license plate and the front bumper had the typical broken plastic piece at the top front and one broken front suppot ( 23.00 from ECS .
The body shop said it needed massive repairs and the company wrote it off. What a scam .. the body shop hikes the repair bill ins company writes it off, body shop fixes and resells. . if we had known they were going to do that me and my buddy would have swapped engine as he was driving it around for a week before he had time to take it in for estimate. His engine runs fantastic.
Good news I guess is he paid 5500 at auction two months ago and the insurance company gave him 11 grand for it. total piss off though as it was a great car and well looked after.
ins would not even sell it back to him as they said the body shop had first dibs .. I smell a rat ..
