Hey,

My rear wiper motor seized and started smoking like it was going to catch on fire. I pulled the fuse marked for wipers. Wondering if there is there a fuse to just disable the rear wiper until I can replace motor? I would like to be able to use front windshield wipers in the meantime.

Thanks in advance!

to the point when you can see electric connector to rear wiper motor and disconnect it, if you do not want to take out the motor yet. That should allow you plug in fuse and yet disengage rear motor.

Don't think there's a rear wiper fuse. But you can pull the rear hatch trim and disconnect the motor directly.

You can generally find used motors on eBay for $80 or so I think.

Thanks for the responses. I am out of town and didn't have a torx screwdriver to remove the hatch trim to disconnect motor. Guess I have to pick one up
