It is the VIDI. We are just highlighting the boost gauge feature especially for vehicles with turbocharged engines.

It's worth noting that this will read requested boost not actual boost as it is reading it from the ODB-II Port.

If you want actual boost you will need to purchase the analog boost sensor add-on and a boost tap:

[ECS Tuning-Audi]

It will read actual map sensor pressure. You will want to run that adapter if you want to display boost in an analog gauge or if your vehicle doesn't have anything to sense boost pressure.
