I've gone from driving 30ish minutes to work and the same back to double and my back is killing me lately in the A4; Would Recaros make a big difference?

So you're saying Recaro's are or aren't worth it? I need another thread to come to a decision

I'm not asking if they're worth the money; I want to find out if they are a lot more comfortable before spending around a grand on them. I'd be pissed to buy'em just for them to not be comfy.

They are seats. What else beyond comfort would make them worth the money? Read the thread. Here are highlights:
I feel the same way, but i'm sure they are well worth it. I like aftermarket seats, but my god do they suck on road trips. I've been looking for some from a B7 and they come out time from time. I can justify the expense to make the ride on my ass and back worth the amount spent. Just like the bi-xenons.... night and day amigo
x2. I had my stock seats for about ~148k miles, and they were falling apart and were not comfortable at all. Recaros, now I can drive for hours without having to worry about it. Just wish they were ventilated...
Hands down one of the [up] interior[wrench] mods one can do. I felt the difference[drive]ing [race] around the 1st curve...AWESOME....... is all I have to say

define comfort. usually sport seats offer a lot more support to the lumbar area, they may initially feel " not comfortable" as they tend to be stiffer and less cushy or they may be more difficult to get in and out of, but they will definitely support your posture and not provide pain ( well, add to the pain you already have )
