Part Numbers

VAG (Volkwagen Audi Group) part numbers are generally a 10 character grouping which is divided into three sets of 3 and end in a revision number or letter (i.e., "X" being refurbished part).

The first three digits tell you the model and chassis Audi which is being represented. The middle grouping generally displays coding for the product or part. In this case 035 192 is the RNS-E Navigation Plus "XXX 035 192 X" The X's grouped together preceding it would be substituted by the automobile which the RNS-E was specific to. And the final single character in this case X might be represented by F. So to recap 8E0 035 192 F would be the B6/8E 2002-2005 A4 US spec RNS-E Navigation Plus. I would just add one more important info about Audi XM/Sirius radio tuners...

.....some of the 2005+ A4 / A6 / Allroads have new (RNS-E ready) tuners installed already so if you have any of this car....just look in the trunk and read part # before spending $$$.

Would I call my local Audi dealer for pricing and availability on these parts or can I find them online?

Well, this information is very useful, but I still can't quite figure out what I need.

In my 2006 B7 A4 I have the basic Symphony stereo unit, I don't have either the RNS-E or the TPMS, but I would like to get the bluetooth phone integration system. What exactly do I need?

Very simple, BT interface module, BT mic with integreated custom harness, BT antenna and proper VAG-coding and you're set!

PM me if you want to order it up.

I have an 06 A3 2.0t w/o RNS-E (symphony) & no TPMS. Although you provided very detailed info, before I jump in, will either of these Sirius modules work on my car?

"8E0 035 593/8E0 057 593 Sirius w/o RNS-E and w/o tire pressure monitoring system"

It looks from my research that the instalation is pretty straight forward. Some people are saying it goes in without having to get the dealer to "activate" it and others are saying they had to.

Any tips before I pull out interior panels and try to find one of these to install?

And while I'm at it, could I add bluetooth to my setup using factory parts or am I going to have to install a Parrot or Moto rig and have the local mutants at the stereo shop touch my car in unmentionable places?

Thanks!
Lionel

Lionel,

This will be a straight forward integration for you. If you plan to operate an RNS-E you must have an updated Sirius SAT radio module D or higher. As for BT integration, it's also not a problem at all. All components can be ordered through us and custom made to your vehicle specifications. Drop me an email or PM for details and pricing.

I found this sweet deal for a 200-2003 A6 unit. The model number is: 4B0 035 192 M. I didnt see that on the list though. I have a B5 A4 and want to get this for my car. Where do I get or how do I perform the faceplate mod? And will this unit work with my car as listed above (im assuming they will be the same since the chassis model #'s are 4B0...)?

http://yourcarmusic.com/Pics/AudiA6PLUS/01.29.08/3.jpg

also does this one have the sd slot behind the monitor because it looks like it flips down. Where can I find in depth specs on this one?

On the parts list it shows that the part number for satellite radio would be 8E0 035 593/8E0 057 593 for a B7.

I have a 07 A4 (b7) with symphony and w/o tmps, and there is a chart in a different forum where shows that the 8E0 035 593 E/8E0 057 593 E will work as well with the b7.

Can anyone confirm this?

I want to get a tuner but don't wanna buy the wrong part number. help.

Check your VIN, starting with WAU..8E..7A126439 Audi switched to single FAKRA connectors which require a different receiver.

I have a 2004 A4 Avant that is SAT ready (wired) and am looking to put a SAT tuner in it but wonder why sirius has two antenna inputs and the XM only has one? Does it have to do with how Sirius deals with Navigation?

German driver - your inbox is full...

I didn't see my '08 TT 3.2 listed for part numbers. I believe the RNS-E for mine should end with a P - are there others that would also work?

I'm mostly looking to add a factory-feel Bluetooth capability to the TT and thought I might as well go for a better head unit to do that. Nav/GPS would be nice but not all that important to me.

Any suggestions on what I should be looking for to make this happen?

Thanks...

Hello, I have a 06 A6 Quattro 3.2. I would like to install a satellite module. In the trunk there are 2 cables, one green and one brown, and another black connector. I was told that I needed a fiber optic splitter in order to connect the power connector. AUDI dealers in the area have no idea of what I'm talking about.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.
