B8.5 S4 stock exhaust on B8 S4 [Archive]

Currently parting out my B8 before I sell it/trade it by the end of the month and am in dire need of a stock exhaust.

So far I've really only been able to find people local enough to me that are willing to sell/trade B8.5 S4 stock exhausts. I haven't been on the forums in quite a while but I vaguely remember that the B8.5 S4 exhaust tips were slightly larger than the B8 S4's. Is this true? Does anyone know the exact sizing of the outlets? I'm assuming the exhaust would still fit, so I'm more worried about the tips being noticeably larger than the B8's.

I think the tips are the same size but the valance openings are larger on the 8.5. The exhausts are the same on both models.

I think you might be right now that I think about it.

Just looked into part numbers. The B8 and B8.5 S4's have the same part numbers for the tips, but different part numbers for the rear mufflers. The rear valence part numbers are also different, which is to be expected based on what you said. I'm curious what the difference in the rear mufflers is, if anything other than a different part number...

Yeah it worked .. Took my B8.5 Downpipe and exhaust off the car and it bolted up to a B8 with NO ISSUE [emoji1476][emoji1476]
