Today the pricing and availablity came out for the 2006 RS4 Steering Wheels and other styling parts.
Due to time constaints and language barriers, I only got pricing on the steering wheel.
I can sell these (with controls or without) for $550 shipped. This will not include the airbag assenbly.
I will have pricing on the rest of the interior components on Wednesday.

We would need the airbag assembley to have a functional Air bug? What does the assembley consist of? Can we use the Same airbag itself or do we need that as well? Im glad you are making progress with this.

The airbag should be the same. Two ways to find out, cross reference ETKA, or buy one and try it. At $550, I may be willing to take that risk... And these supposedly won't be coming to The States, that's why you buy them from an exporter in Germany like Greg here. [up]
Greg, you have PM!

It just popped into ETKA today, I will have a full set of pricing on Wedenesday...unfortunately orders on these will have to wait until Dec 1st.

hmm, there's no reason why this wheel wouldn't work with the B6, right? If the controls work with my stereo and it's not an arm and a leg for the airbag. . . I could be interested in this.
lemme know, greg.

Should work in the B6 as well, I'm sure they didn't change the airbag from B6 to B7. You would just use your own, provided the RS4 uses the same one.

The airbag and horn assembly are all one piece...if you look at the photo they are obviously different than the B6. I sell parts, I do not troubleshoot how to do a install for anyone.
If you want to go faster than anyone else, then I am your man...when it comes to VIP culture...I am not :)

Ah that's true, the front piece is different looking on the B6 and B7, but is the overall shape the same? That's the question. If it's not, then B6'ers are SOL. Buy a B7! [:p]

It will look good on the B6, the trouble will be getting the airbags...they are pretty well controlled in Germany.

Yeah and they're a PITA to ship, considered an explosive device.

Well the B7 Doesnt have that Circle Shape Middle assembly were the Airbag goes so that means the B7 guys would have to buy the air bag also then? Or am i being confused about something?

veeerrryy nice.....i'd jump in on this if we can square away the airbag issue......can they be had, can they be shipped with the wheel, what's the added cost?

We're talking about this interior right? Looks like we might lose a bit of the functionality of the steering wheel controls...?

I think the look alone will far exceed the lose of a few controls on the wheel. I think the Euro RS4 interior is the hottest interior ever!

Now that I get a better look at it, I'm not even sure that will work on the B7 A4 or S4. Center cover piece (and subsequently the airbag behind it) is a much different shape. [:(]
I bet you could sell an awful lot of those shift knobs and pedals though! [:D]

You can get the wheel with or without the controls on the steering wheel...price is the same. I will get pricing on the shift knob and pedal covers today.

hmm....i would think that Audi would at least keep the fitting on the columns the same.....i wonder now if the column cover would look out-of-place, and whether the wiring harness would match?????
Anthony

I'm sure it'd fine to the collumn, and that even the harness would match. My only question is that front cover.

I have wood trim, so I don't think it wouldn't look right in my car, IMO....but if you could get a price on a B7 s-line wheel with tiptronic paddle shifters I would be much obliged [cool]

Thats why a few post above i had asked and i was a bit confused because the center is round our is square..
About the controls i have a 2005.5 so the other extra two controls i have dont work any ways.
Seriously i want the pedals and shit knob the steering wheel I would get it all depends how much the air bag assembley is if it dont past $1k i would still op to do it.
