Hows your experience with unitronic stage 2? I am still thinking over awe/giac, apr and unitronic.

So we only get the sale at the show? Any way we could get it at retail locations?

Unitronics figured the slip problem out last year. The APR Post stated that their issue was in the ecu tune. So with that I say the Tcu tune is something you might not need I don't feel any problems with Unitronic not having the Tcu tune.

What "slip problem" are you referring to? The one in the APR thread?

That's the one, this was a problem I had early on but in a couple weeks Unitronics fixed it. I believe it's the same issue and it was stated in the APR thread that it ended up being in the ECU tune. There's members that have the Unitronic software that state the shift is butter smooth and I say true statement. The shift points are lower (stock RPM) but we are still getting 11.9 1/4 mile runs.

I'd have to disagree. I still have the blip under heavy throttle as described over there. Not sure what their resolution is going to be, but I don't think it's specific to just one tuner.

And the TCU tune will most definitely be beneficial.

We're working to release it as soon as we can, but not before it's 100% ready for our Clients to spend their hard earned money on.

This promotion is applicable only at The European Experience. I'm sorry, there is no way to get the promotional pricing other than at The European Experience.

For sure a DL501 TCU calibration will provide significant improvements over stock.

John,

Have you guys seen the issue with the "slip" or hesitation under heavy throttle? Under the APR stage 2 thread....

It's very apparent in my car and they were saying it had something to do with clutch pressure or a communication error between ecu and tcu. Were you able to come up with a fix in the tcu tune for this?

When was the last update you installed? I did the latest update and it really did help.

Please send me an email with the link to the thread you're referring to and we'll discuss there. This thread is regarding The European Experience, so I'd like to keep it on topic, if possible.

LOL...it would cost me more than $100 in gas and lodging to head down to SOWO....just to save $100 on a tune.
