Car keeps throwing this code:
fuel trim bank 1. Fault 17545
system to lean p1137-35-00.

I have changed plugs, the fpr vac line, the fuel rail line to the manifold (the really short one) and cleaned the maf.

any other suggestions? thanks guys

Do you have a VAG tool? Maybe check timing pull?

Well a car running lean is going to feel like it is running great.

Do you have any logs of your maf sensor or what your block 032 reads for the fuel trim?

blocks
003 = maf and timing
031 = 02 sensor(AFR)
020 = timing pull
032 = fuel trims
026 = knock sensor readings

around 3.42g/s for maf and 2.0% Inj on time these are at idle.

The other blocks cant get a reading for. not sure if im doing it wrong. anyways ill try more later. any other suggestions be great.

also its not getting any reading for the cat, saying failed or incomplete. could it be a bad o2 sensor?

On block 031? Is it the pre or post cat that isn't reading?

when u click on readiness while in the engine control and it checks all your systems like ac, and abs and all that and you get either a passed or failed/incomplete, everthing passed except for the the cat box. says failed. also talked to some audi guys at local autox and the one guy even suggested o2 sensor.

would that be pre or post cat?

Actually, P1137 - 17545 is a "System too Rich" error code.

P1136 - 17544 is, "System too lean"

So, the recommended items to check are:

Oxygen sensor
Fuel pressure
Exhaust leaks before the turbine (they can be invisible at at idle and leak under partial load)

My bet is on the O2 sensor.

BTW, how is your fuel consumption?

I agree with daft, i would peep out your o2 sensor. Hey qtek. when you installed the filter, did you just clean it, did you put it on when it was still oily and wet. The oils might have made thier mark..

fuel consumption sucks. prolly like 20-30 miles below the norm for a tank
