I disconnected my battery today, because I had buzzing noise coming out from my dashboard. Before disconnect the instrument cluster I disconnected my battery. Fix that noise, connect the instrument cluster again and then the battery and now I have 3 lights on, ESP and ABS are on solid and handbrake light is flashing and occasionally it make a beeping noise. Drove the car about 10 miles but the lights are still on. Help!

Check for codes. Save/record them and clear them and see what happens. Buzzing is not good. Especially if it's the electrical kind.

Sorry allstock, I didn't use the correct word... The noise was coming from loose bolt behind the instrument cluster.

Yea you need to VCDS that thing. I'm betting you can't get into the ABS module. That combination of lights usually means the ABS module is dead.

Dead? Before I disconnected the battery there was nothing wrong, is it possible to fix it with reset the instrument cluster?

Everything is perfect...as I said before it's happened when I dis/reconnect yhe battery. Btw I just spoke with my brother and he said an year ago he replaced his battery and all lights on the IC were on...he took the car to the mechanic and he just reset those faults and the lights went away... Audi A6 2006 3.0 TDI that's his car

http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Audi_A6_(4F)_Brake_Electronics#Special_Procedures Sometimes the steering angle calibration can be done by just turning the steering wheel from full lock left to full lock right a few times while driving. Try driving around in a few circles in an empty parking lot.

I don't have vagcom... I checked a couple of different models yesterday on amazon but I don't know which one to get. Need something to read abs/esr/air bag faults... option to reset them and my budget is around 150....ane suggestions? What about: Autel AL619

thanks to everyone... I'll see what kind of faults the mechanic's gonna find today and I'll tell you later.

Hi guys I just came back from mechanic and he has found a lot of faults. With the steering wheel calibration, ABS sensors on the rear wheels, ABS module and stability control system. He tried to delete them but those one for the ABS and ESP came on again after we start the engine. I told him to try those steps to calibrate the st.wheel as you advised me...but he said: we habe a different situations here I need a car for a whole day...bring it next week. I'm started to feeling desperate :(
Please tell me what kind of tool donI have to buy to do those steps whit the steering wheel calibration? I gonna do this by my self
