Hello all, I'm an Audi newbie and looking at a 2016 A6. A few questions if anyone is willing to answer:

- Any Audi 101 I should be aware of?

- Looking at a prestige, but wondering if it's worth the bump up from premium plus.

- Guessing the 2017s will start rolling in this summer. Should I wait, or will there not be much change?

Thanks in advance for the advice and help.

The new A6 Competition could be worth the wait:

Depending on what you are willing to spend, like @madaboutcars said, the A6 competition might be worth it . I do expect it to be have a fair good price jump over the prestige.
Premium plus vs prestige- again depends on what you want on your car because certain stuff comes standard on prestige. Personally I have only looked at prestige.
2017 vs 2016- competition package is the only change expected.

I really like the Prestige too and love the car overall. Thank you for taking the time to respond. Any Audi 101 advice... maintenance, add ons/upgrades, etc?

100% go for the prestige, although it is a bit of a price jump over the premium plus, but for me, I needed the standard features of the prestige package. I have two young kids so the sunshades on the rear windows are great, the power trunk I love and the HUD is a nice feature even though the dash surround is a bit dated. I knew I wanted the LED headlights and sport package so the prestige really worked for me. Overall I love it!
