View Full Version : iPod Video installed

I installed this last week but finally took pics. 5G 60gb Black iPod video

iPod adapter (Blitzsafe M-Link1) was purchased at www.enfig.com.

Mount and crade purchased at www.gbxdirect.com

I was considering the icelink but I don't know how long I will be keeping this car, plus I like taking the ipod out of the holder and messing with it up close. This way was prett cheap. Around $70 for the adapter, and $38 for the cradle and mount together. The iPod is controled by the ipod only, except volume, which is controled by the radio. It charges while it's playing and 20 minutes after the car is turned off.

And don't mind the protective film coming off the lower right corner. Until they come out with cases it's staying on.

No but you can do slideshows. I wish there were a visualization option.

Is it possible to connect that to a screen? =)

yes, there is an adapter for audio and video out, so you just need to hook it up to your screen via a/v cables.

The universal dock also has S-video out.

Wallpaper is a nice feature, have to say I like that on the iAudio. I've just got to mount mine now, have the adapter in place already, just need to wire it up to the holder.

Some people are asking about the mount. Here is the direct link:

There is no cutting/drilling required. You just need to remove your radio (you need 4 radio keys) and use the two existing bolts already behind the radio to attach the mount.

This one will work on my 03 B6 right ?

that does it!

I just ordered one from my brother-in-law in LA. My christmas present. Selling my green mini iPod.

One piece of advise. Don't put so many keys stressing the ignition switch. Mine is broken because of that.

Hmmm.. not too sure. As long as the 2 bolts behind the radio are the same in the >99 as they are in the 00 it shouldn't matter what radio you have unless it is too flush with the right side of the dash.

^^ So do I. I need a case that locks to the car and locks the iPod inside, because people will stop at nothing to steal them from you, at least around here.
