Dang, that's a great price! I broke down and finally bought the Bremmen version for like $60 about 3 months ago. My latch was busted for like 3 years.
Look into if those will fit your specific model. There are differences between lids.

Bummer! I talked with sales and they had one pending but could not find the order comittment. Nearly had it released until they found the missing order. Oh well, time to try the old epoxy fix on the broken latch.

Just get the Bremmen version (https://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B7_A4-Quattro-2.0T/Interior/Armrest/Center_Lid/ES2776565/). It's actually pretty decent. Slightly "stickier" feel to the leatherette, but it's totally worth the $60.

Arrived from China in 7 days and looks/feels nearly identical. Slightly less glossy than the original, but it hasn't had my greasy bows on it yet.

Why would anyone pay $288? I paid $20 for mine on ebay like the fella said. Works and looks perfect. If people are paying $288, they shouldn't even be on this forum...They should go to dealer.

It's like saying why would anyone pay $15,000 for a Rolex Presidential when you can get one for $150? Because there's a price for everything - and there is a difference! The original looks good, feels right, and fits well. It will also last much longer. You don't have to go to the dealer to install it.
