Hey guys,

Recently picked up an 08 A4 after my B6 got totaled. Having an issue with the auto leveling lights working. They are aimed pretty low, and when I start the car they only go side to side, not the down, side to side, and up again sequence. Aside from recalibrating with vagcom, anytning to check? Car is stock height and fuse is good. Thanks!

Did you check the level sensors themselves? One of each driver side axle?

They appear good. No damage to any wiring or anything.

Did you scan to see if its giving you codes?

Only vagcom I have is a knock off one that worked with my b6 but is shotty otherwise.

Just asking a dumb question, do you have the light switch set to auto? I thought I had a similar issue as they didn't auto level anymore when I turned them on, once I switch to auto they auto level every time the come on....

It should not matter if it's on auto or not. If you turn them ON, say at night, and turn over the car, you should see them automatically level. If they're adaptive, they will dip down, go side-to-side, then come back up.
