Mine is 6 lbs, last one was over 10 lbs and I'll just say the weight makes no difference as I was not impressed with the last one....

The VRT alone is about $25.00 and probably one of the best vinyl rubber and tire dressings on the market.

You're getting ripped off. Amazon has it for 20 bucks.
I probably should have clarified that I wasn't thrilled because I couldn't complete my adams collection by rolling the dice on a mystery box that's all. The products are great and will enjoy them otherwise.

bummed that I missed it...these mystery boxes are awesome, love the anticipation and tearing the box open once it arrives. Always received great stuff from my last two purchases

I purchase all my detailing supplies from Phil because I get them the next day and I believe in supporting small business rather than Amazon even if the price is slightly higher. I can always call Phil or shoot him a message if I have any questions about a product or the proper way to use it... I can't do that with Amazon. There is actually a really good article on detailingbliss (http://www.detailingbliss.com/topic/30847-a-lesson-from-the-50-detail-by-dylan-von-kleist/) regarding purchasing things just because you're getting a better "deal" on it.
I'm sure everyone on this forum has some kind of job that makes them money, some of whom perform a service. I'm sure that a potential customer can also find that service cheaper, however, if we all price match one another, look for the best "deal" and try to nickel and dime we will put a lot of people out of business (Walmart / Target / Amazon - small mom and pop shops). I don't mind paying a few bucks extra for good customer service, advice, and quick shipping.
People always ask me for discounts and hookups and such and whenever I can I help them out as much as I can even though it's literally taking money out of our pockets. Sometimes we have to sell things at cost to be competitive in this market... however we still have to pay our packers, our shippers, and the boxes that it's shipped in. Think of it like this... would you take a paycut for the day to make your customer happy? (this is not directed directly at you just speaking in general lol.)

Hugh, what did you get in your last order?
I ordered 4 boxes along with a bunch of other stuff... drbeasleys plasmacoat (https://www.detailersdomain.com/collections/dr-beasleys/products/dr-beasleys-plasmacoat-4-oz) some adamspolishes VRT (https://www.detailersdomain.com/collections/adams-polishes/products/adams-super-vrt) & car shampoo (https://www.detailersdomain.com/collections/adams-polishes/products/adams-new-car-shampoo). 1zeinszett W99 (https://www.detailersdomain.com/collections/1z-einszett/products/1z-einszett-w99) and kenotek anti insect (https://www.detailersdomain.com/collections/kenotek/products/kenotek-anti-insect).. oh yea, and a rupes polisher. My advice on the mystery boxes it to purchase more than one, it's like the lottery... the more you buy the better chance you have of winning. I have probably purchased well over 20 of these mystery boxes to date and finally scored the big ticket item. There was another box a few months ago that I got a pretty good wax as well... the autofinesse illusion wax (https://www.detailersdomain.com/collections/auto-finesse/products/auto-finesse-illusion-carnauba-wax).
