Oh lol I thought this was your other thread. My apologies!

No, our J-bung has been specifically designed to prevent a CEL on the B7 A4. You will not get a CEL due to catalyst efficiency with our TP/HFC because of the J-bung

Absolutely, we have had ZERO issues with the J-bung on the B7 A4. Remember, this is specifically designed to prevent the catalyst efficiency codes you would when removing the OEM cat.

Well thats good news so far.....a quick bit of research on B8 forums seems to show their ECU is more fickle than ours and doesn't play ball with the rear lambda

Derp, sorry it's late didn't notice high flow cat rather than test pipe. But yes, zero issues with the test pipe so I'd imagine the high flow cat would be even less prone to issues if at all.

No worries, makes sense the increased flow=more potential for probs.G'night

I'm glad no on his having any issues I am going to install mine when I install my custom exhaust system that is in the process of being built. Then I am thinking I will do the JHM stage 1 tune.

Well this is great news, but certainly not bagging 034 who have great products that I have several of,but they have had cases of Cels and codes not easily solvable ,I wouldnt want that as APR over here quoted me $A400 to upgrade my ECU flash to delete a possible code -pretty outrageous when you guy's get it for virtually nicks...
That's why I'm so keen to find out.

I am building a 3" cat back Aero exhaust system. Should be really fun and sound really nice when its finished.

My exhaust setup sounds mean. Really growly without any drone. Pretty happy with it Ringer ;)

So Jake it looks like a winner and as I said earlier,in Australia with APR there are no freebies or low cost upgrades for Cel deletes etc,in fact the cost of just Stage 1 is over the top....
Your tune, in spite of the $ exchange ,is actually cheaper and from what I've read here probably better ( the cables a problem though..)
But believe we are still "the lucky country " in a lot of ways, just not when it comes to modding euro Cars !
